PROJECT STATUS: ACTIVE. Fall 2024-Present.
About
The goal for this project is to build on creating my personal brand as a travel filmmaker. I am going to do this by professionalizing the content and mini movies that document my travels. I have already lightly begun to upload my work to Youtube and Instagram, but by building a plan to keep consistency and upgrading my tools, I will elevate my content.
Another goal for this project is to hone in on my video making/editing skills. Next semester, I will be studying at the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts (FAMU), a prestigious institution located in Prague, Czech Republic. Through taking film production classes, and creating films with others, this will be the first time my sole focus will be on videography. I want to take the skills that I am learning in Prague and directly relate them to my own work as I take my camera and travel through Eastern Europe next spring. This is a unique and exciting opportunity where I will be immersed in travel and film production instruction, the bones of the business I am building.

Noah Biniam ’26 is a Third Year at Grinnell, originally from Chicago IL, studying Anthropology and Film. He loves to travel, and create content while doing so. In the future, he hopes to have job where there is always a camera in his hand.
